Sheboygan County Community Partnership for Children (CPC)

Community developmental screening events give parents and caregivers another opportunity to discuss their child's development with trained staff who can share activities to foster healthy child development and connect families to community resources.

The CPC is currently working to increase access to screening services by offering online screening options — check uwofsc.org/screenmychild for updates on the launch of this system!

Born Learning is a community engagement campaign that helps parents, grandparents and caregivers explore ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities. 

Born Learning Trails are a series of 10 interactive signs that offer fun, active learning activities for young children and their families. They help parents, caregivers and communities create quality engagement opportunities when out on a stroll or visiting a local playground.

Sheboygan County's Born Learning Trails are available 24/7 and located at Generations (1500 Douglas Drive, Plymouth, WI 53073) and on the Shoreland 400 trail in Sheboygan starting behind RCS Empowers, Inc.

Parent Cafés explore the five Strengthening Families Protective Factors through guided peer-to-peer learning, self-reflection and conversations that strengthen the social and emotional health of families. Learn more about our current series here!

Many families in Sheboygan County struggle to secure necessary health and safety items for their children. While there are agencies in Sheboygan County that help provide these items, lack of reliable transportation and limited time off of work present barriers to families attempting to access these services. 

By partnering with a variety of agencies already serving families in their own homes/communities around Sheboygan County, we are able to break down these barriers and deliver needed items to families at times and locations that are convenient to them. Thanks to a grant from the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board, we were able to purchase a large initial stock of supplies.
