2022-2024 Strategic Plan
United Way of Sheboygan County (UWSC) plays a crucial role in our community. No individual or organization can solve our community’s problems alone. United Way brings together community stakeholders, contributors, and organizations across different sectors to create collaborative and innovative approaches to solving complex social problems. Working together, we can create systemic change in our community.
In March 2022, United Way's Board of Directors adopted the 2022-2024 Strategic Plan. Strategic initiatives and areas of focus include over the next three years include:
A. Strengthen data-driven investment strategy that focuses on collective impact and prevention
B. Increase community engagement and donor cultivation to effect change
C. Strengthen and maintain organizational culture and operational capabilities
D. Advance Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) work within the nonprofit sector and general community relationships
These initiatives, along with the strategic objectives that fall under, align with the continued approach to serving our community as a thriving United Way, being data-driven and community owned. As part of our strategic planning process, both our mission and vision statements were also updated in spring to better reflect the work we do (please see above).
