This high-visibility event not only strengthens the community, but also offers a unique opportunity to showcase your commitment to build a better Sheboygan County.
Sponsorships for Day of Caring 2026 are now available.
Sponsorship levels start at $500. All sponsorship levels get the first opportunity to view and sign-up for volunteer opportunities starting on Monday August 3rd, 2026.
SUBMIT YOUR VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
Nonprofits and other community-serving agencies are invited to submit projects for Day of Caring 2026.
- Register the volunteer opportunity through the Volunteer Center of Sheboygan County website
Timing for Day of Caring Volunteer Opportunities
- Morning volunteer opportunities will be from 9am to 12pm
- Afternoon volunteer opportunities will be from 12:30 to 3:30pm
- All day volunteer opportunities will be offered from 9am until 3:30pm
- If you are offering a full-day volunteer opportunity, lunch must be provided to volunteers.

In just one day, Day of Caring 2025 made a lasting mark:

1,300 volunteers rolled up their sleeves

Individuals representing at least 29 companies joined forces across the region

41 locations hosted multiple projects throughout the county, with sites in Sheboygan, Plymouth, Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, Elkhart Lake, Oostburg, Greenbush and beyond!

4,800 hours of service completed

$12,100 in project grants funded by United Way of Sheboygan County, helped to support our local nonprofit partners with the day's projects

Nearly $167,000 in local economic impact — all in one day!
